Developing full flavors, perfect golden colors, moist textures, and rich, satisfying crusts requires the right equipment as well as the right process. R.W. Bakers operates from a state-of-the-art, 100,000 square-foot manufacturing facility divided into three distinct production environments: A traditional bakery, where we produce breads, rolls and buns; a specialty bakery for sweet goods; and a certified gluten free bakery. We bake in rack ovens to ensure quality, flexibility, and quick change over. With a dedicated, professional staff, we work in three shifts, around the clock, running as many as six production lines and three packaging lines simultaneously.
Our commitment to food safety and product quality is second to none. We have a dedicated safety manager and quality control technicians on staff. We are certified with the Food Safety Systems Certification (FSSC 22000). R.W. Bakers’ gluten free facility is certified by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO) and Celiac Support Association (CSA – Celiac Sprue). The facility is Kosher certified by Orthodox Union.
